MARCH 29:

Another Armed Forces side devoted to Nesmith,
this time for his LP: And The Hits Just Keep On Comin'

Nesmith's Pacific Arts label was distributed by Island Records (1974-78)
When they manufactured the tapes themselves the catalog number was changed -
These two were issued by Island and there may be a Live At The Palais tape out there as well

MARCH 23:

Another sealed Colgems cassette, Instant Replay

This one came up for sale a couple years ago, and I wasn't able to get it,
so I'm thankful John is sharing this amazing find!

We know of 3 sealed Colgems cassettes, missing only Greatest Hits and Changes.
with the Changes cassette being the rarest Colgems release of them all.

 

MARCH 15:

A new find, the first LP on 8-track from Italy

Notes:

The first vinyl album was not released as is in Italy; they used the MOTM jacket
and replaced Let's Dance On with I'm A Believer, the current hit single.
So this tape existing comes as a complete surprise.

It seems RCA tape division operated independently of the vinyl department.

The other known 8-tracks to exist from Italy all are copyrighted 1969 and have
the block RCA symbol on them, this tape does not which pushes it's release to 1967 or '68.

MARCH 13:

An error printing for the Silver Eagle Cassette The Best Of The Monkees
misspelled as "Monkeys" on the shell. The insert was correct.
