Stage to Stardom

In March 1967 ads appeared in Billboard announcing a
Stage to Stardom "Monkees Soft Drink Nightclub".

The flyer is from an actual event in Fort Lauderdale
with Mark Markham & The Jesters, among other groups.

The idea was to find new talent and make money doing it
but at a buy-in of $15K I wonder how many of these existed.
