2026 marks the tenth anniversary of The Monkees' album, Good Times!
Originally recorded to commemorate the band’s 50th anniversary, the album
was produced by Fountains of Wayne co-founder Adam Schlesinger and
featured new recordings from Monkees members Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith & Peter Tork.
Songs on the album included new compositions from the likes of Ben Gibbard and
Andy Partridge along with old compositions from regular Monkees collaborators
like Harry Nillson and Neil Diamond. An audiophile vinyl edition of the original album
will be released through the Rhino Reserve series. The 180-gram pressing was cut
from the original analog masters by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab and
pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing in Oxnard, California. The LP will be available
exclusively through indie retailers in the U.S. and via Rhino.com.
