ALBUMS
South Africa RCA
The Monkees first 5 LPs have only been found in mono
and the last 5 only in stereo.
With the recently confirmed release of Barrel Full of Monkees,
SA is the only other country to release the complete Colgems catalog.
Just like the singles, the labels & sleeves
do not mention where they were pressed.
However their numbering system is unique to SA.

SA received the revised jacket with the new headshots and the red background
that was also used for the US cassette and the LPs from India & Puerto Rico.
In addition, there is a "RE" on the front slick (bottom left corner).
This seems to be tied to the fact that Mike's headshot has been reversed to
possibly match his other pictures on the front jacket.
The Monkees Present

South Africa is one of only 3 countries (the others being Ecuador & Mexico)
