UPDATE HISTORY
2017

APRIL

APRIL 30:

Eagle eye Ben Belmares picked up a copy of "Monkee Flips" and noticed it had "1984"
on the edge of the label with the Rhino address. When this was reissued in 1986
that was removed, but they etched "RE-1" in the dead wax.

When trying to distinguish between the two pressings, the "1984" is much easier to spot,
rather than looking for the RE-1 or asking an ebay seller to look for it.

APRIL 23:

Thanks to Ed Reilly for providing the missing pictures from the Arista's Flashback series,
which was released in 1991 and promptly sank without a trace.
These almost never show up on ebay.

APRIL 22:

Here is the CD version of Infinite Tuesday courtesy of Ben Belmares:

At some point I'll get the vinyl up as well.
Still on the fence about buying it.

Thanks to the Monkees Almanac I've added a couple great
1969 RCA catalog pics to this site from Lisa Manekofsky.

APRIL 14:

Completely revised the Colgems cassette section with
all new photos from Ed Reilly's collection:

Of all the recorded media formats issued for the Monkees,
these are the hardest to find.

Thanks Ed!

APRIL 13:

Reader Michael J. Thomas has recently acquired this mono copy
of Birds from the Philippines and he confirms that it does have
the same unique mix as found in the USA pressing.

In addition, the Philippines used the exact same jacket as the USA,
which makes this the next best thing to having the original.
